Producing Sustainable Wine

Producing Sustainable Wine

As one of the world’s largest wine companies, we have a responsibility to lead positive change across our value chain.

We want every consumer to experience wine that is sustainably grown, made, and packaged. Our efforts include ensuring our asset base and grower network meet sustainability criteria, and extend to innovation and collaboration that addresses the industry’s shared challenges.

  • We’re increasing certification: Achieved sustainability certification across 100% of our eligible owned and leased winery and vineyard sites where recognised certification schemes are available.

  • We’re partnering with growers: Continued collaboration with our growers and bulk wine providers to enable sustainability certification of brands, with more than 33 million litres of wine sustainably certified in Australia in F26.

  • We’re diverting waste: Achieved a waste diversion from landfill rate of 92.1% across our global operational sites.

  • We’re assessing risk: Completed secondary risk assessments for high-risk contracted suppliers.
